One of my favorite discoveries in Nashville was the denim shop (also a design studio/production space) Imogene + Willie. It’s in a converted auto body shop and has the rustic-meets-luxe look that I find myself totally into these days. So much fun to be walking by and stumble on this idyllic creative scene – old boots lined up on aged wooden benches, paper patterns and old flour sacks hanging like slabs of meat from the rafters, the owners’ dog sitting in the open doorway. When we popped in, they were working on a small run of waistcoats for RRL, Ralph Lauren’s line of limited-edition pieces for men.
