And I must say that I’ve never been impressed with Robin Gihvan’s fashion writing. It’s too pedestrian and obvious. Rarely insightful.

Ah yes, it was a decidedly low-key evening, which was probably why I enjoyed it so much. As for her insider scoop – can’t wait for it!

Calling her “our city’s fashion writer,” though, makes me kind of sad, because I know as soon as she hopped in her cab, she was on her way back to NYC. What, we’re not good enough here? -sigh- -the DCGF
