Over the Thanksgiving holiday, my mom sat me down for (another) lesson on sewing a button back on a shirt. Apparently most guys know how to perform this very basic sewing operation, but I have somehow managed to reach my lady mid-twenties without mastering it. I made an ugly skirt in middle school and that was about it. Learning to sew will be one of my New Year's resolutions, and this homemade pillow idea from Domino's Under $1 gift guide (!!) just made it top my list. A couch full of these (plus a mug of something spicy and steamy) would be the perfect, cozy antidote to this rainy-dreary weather.
