Two great events happening this Friday, on two completely opposite sides of town. Where's my body-double when I need her?

Over in Bethesda, a book party for writer Tatiana Boncampagni (The New York Times, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal....and Legal Times, when she lived here!), whose books focus on the New York social scene, of which she is no doubt a part. Socialite Tinsley Mortimer hosted her party in New York; see photos and a video at Park Avenue Peerage.

In Virginia, an art-meets-fashion event from Philippa Hughes of the Pink Line Project, doyenne of the local art scene (check out her spread in the current DC Magazine...the one with Pres-elect Obama on the cover). I'll be there, speaking on the panel about the intersection of art and fashion.
