FW Behind the Scenes

The new issue of FW is out! Besides a great interview with Isaac Mizrahi and ahem, some cute photos and fashion input by yours truly, it features tons of amazingly gorgeous dresses for the charity ball and inauguration season (eee!!!), including this showstopper by Pamella Roland from Saks Jandel.

The shoot was done on location at the Corcoran, and one of my favorite shots shows the model in a short taffeta number twirling around the Corcoran's breathtaking Salon Dore, easily one of the most stunning even spaces in the city. Being a fly on the wall for a fashion shoot is so interesting: the styling, the lighting considerations, the security that goes into protecting those amazing jewels (!!)...

Hear more about it today, actually like NOW...Senior Editor Betsy Lowther is online chatting about style and the new issue.
