Sorry I've been away so long...I've been busy obsessing over these kiiiiinda perfect boots that Holly Thomas recommended on Washington Post's chat the other day. Brown? Black? Love them both. Like my Sidewalk Style subject this week, I'm definitely on the hunt for a pair of boots for fall and well really - a whole bunch of shoes, especially a pair of simple, perfect round-toe flats. Anyone have a favorite brand to recommend?

    Rach- Random, but I love Gap flats. I have their basic patent leather flats in 3 colors (red, blue, and black) and wear them all the time to work. $40 a pair.

    I have Seychelles “At Last” boots that look very similar to these and are very comfortable. Plus they’re on sale.

    Rach – I bought a pair of Sam Edelman’s in August in Boulder and have already worn them to death. So comfortable!

    Just got back from Brussels where all the women were wearing this style of boots. They were EVERYWHERE. My wife is now obsessed with them. And rightfully so, they look great.

    (There were also a lot of quilted coats, though those seem to be all over the place here too.)
