Welcome to the (Sneaker Culture) Jungle

As a person who owns a well-worn Journey concert tee (saw them with REO Speedwagon & Styx but Journey was the draw), I was instantly attracted to some gear the skateboard/sneaker-culture shop Palace5ive is carrying at the moment. It’s a newly released line of Nike SB Dunks inspired by heavy metal bands from the heyday of big-hair-rock. There’s a pair of green-and-red sneakers called “Dr. Feelgood” that’s named for & modeled after the Motley Crue album of the same name, and a slew of items inspired by the Guns n’ Roses album Appetite for Destruction, including sneakers, a T-shirt with a bottle breaking through a cluster of roses, and a sweet concert jacket (I wonder if they have that in a shrunken, girlie size..?).

Big hair-swagger, this time without the leather pants and Aqua Net.
