Sheldon Scott at Marvin

Sheldon Scott over at Marvin always looks amazing. He was the subject of my inaugural Sidewalk Style column over at Washingtonian.com in fact, and you can see that he has a really defined sense of personal style. The oversize glasses are his signature, and he always adds textural elements, especially with ties/neckwear (read the Sidewalk Style link to see how creative he gets with this!!). Both his suit in that first column and this necktie with chain detail are from Redeem…owner Lori Parkerson clearly has a fan.

Not only is Sheldon a snappy dresser, he is an excellent writer and all around amazing talent. Love this guy.
He’s got style. It’s not my style, but it’s style. I think a narrower collared shirt would complete this.
