Check out that Loeffler Randall jacket in the third pic – it was only after I stopped her that I realized she was the owner of Sugar.

The girls in the middle are wearing what has basically become my weekend uniform: skinny jeans tucked into flat boots and a cute jacket (wish you could see theirs better, hrm). Natalie, on the left, was wearing boots from Barneys Co-Op and a great cream-colored leather bag from Rachel Nasvik. Whitney, on the right, was wearing boots from Seychelles and I’ve totally got a crush on them.

And I just adored the accordion player.

The accordian player is by far my favorite out of this group of photos, although the Loeffler Randall is nice to see on DC’s streets, as well. The middle photo, however, I’m confused as to what’s interesting about it…at least in the outfit choices, I mean, the yellow building in the background is kind of interesting.

Tobi (Sugar) always looks smart, sexy, and sophisticated. What a minx! Grrrrrrrr.

Agree with anti dc. The boots over skinny jeans trend is atrocious and is now overplayed, as well. Not to mention, the skinny jeans and boots paired with bulky coats and scarves makes them look very top-heavy.

…Ugh, and their jeans don’t even fit in the boots, so they’re all scrunched up around their knees.

The girl on the left has an interesting scarf, but that’s the only good thing I can say about the pair.

    i hate skinny jeans -

I must fully disclose, that the tight-pants-in-boots look is one that I’m usually very much for and don quite often myself (and, I might add, I’ve been doing so since 2004).

However, I do agree that it has become an awful trend in DC (and many other parts of America), mainly because so many people don’t do it how it was originally intended. That is, they try to get away with stuffing straight-leg or flair (flare?) jeans into their boots, which, like you said, leads to unsightly bunches around the knees. That sh*t is not tight…figuratively and literally. But, if you go up to the LES in NYC, you can see the look done really well and, dare I say, even interestingly. But, you know, different strokes for different folks.

I guess my original point was, the two girls pictured in Photo 2 look fine, I suppose, but it’s just boring to me. That’s all.
