I love the way she interpreted her mother’s silk scarf in a fresh way. This will look great in the fall too, with cardigan sweaters or with a slim v-neck sweater and a little slim belt.
Ashley is a fashion merchandising major (natch!) at Howard. I think she, and our little impromptu photoshoot, made quite the impression on her date, a charming Howard law student….

I know if I were to wear skinny jeans and a scarf around my neck I’d look like I was dressed for a hoedown, but this woman has such an amazing figure and pretty face that she’s able to pull it off. Impressive, and quite stunning. She can do better than a law student, though!
I like the way she’s wearing her scarf. My mom sometimes wears scarves in a similar fashion but Ashley pulls it off without looking old. I hate when people wear scarves like bandanas (centered triangle pointing down).
