OMG, *YES* about the square-toed shoes! How could I forget!?! It’s funny, I wrote that post in a hurry and as I was writing the description I thought to myself that I was forgetting something crucial. It was the damn pilgrim shoes.

As Terri hinted, apparently there’s a cow made entirely of butter at the Ohio State Fair. And I can’t wait to see it. And there will be pictures. OH yes….

my bf only wears sneakers b/c his work clothes consist of jeans and t-shirts (media guy). if i could ever get him to upgrade to something else with his jeans what would it be? i totally trust yall if you tell me square-toed black KC’s = AmJack/HHS!

Hilarious. I don’t know if anyone else does this, but over on the StyleForum we refer to the stripey-shirt, hair gel, and black square-toed KCole wearing (you forget that) guys AmJacks. As in American Jackass.

As for the BB spinning: there is a fascinating article from some economists at the U of Liverpool (if memory serves) showing that men tend to play with their cellphones more in public than women do. Their explanation? It’s a lekking device, just like peacock feathers. Oddly, young teenage girls do the same thing as a social networking tool.
