Ooooh! It's even nattier than I thought! Love the barely-there hints of pink and turquoise.

As requested....the detail shot!

Someone made the comment about his jacket being too long, and I agree that it does look a little long in the picture, but I think that was due in some part to the way he was standing - he was kind of leaning over (I had dragged him into a street, he may have been poised to duck out of the way of oncoming DC drivers).

I think one thing about his look really helps to tie his look together, and that is his cool pair of glasses. I'm not saying that all men should wear specs, but it's being attuned to little details like accessories that really make a guy stand out and look unique and/or fashion-forward. Thinking a bit about small details is something all guys, regardless of size or income level, can do.

It's an alright summer get-up. But both his sleeves and his trousers are too long.

It's hard to tell, but I think his jacket is navy. And, if so, AGAIN, guys, buy some brown shoes.

In this town where men generally don't try I appreciate his look. However, he could look much, much better than he does with exactly what he has.

The shoulders on the jacket are too hard, the waist needs more suppression, especially if he's going to wear it unbuttoned and either he's wearing a short sleeve shirt underneath or his sleeves are too long. Since they look about right I'm going with the short-sleeved shirt, but in either case, ugh. It looks inelegant, like the jacket's wearing him. Also, the pants need tapering at the very least.

Maybe I was spoiled by school in Italy on this, but his pocket square says that he gets the details, but the rest says he either doesn't know or doesn't care, and not in a good way.

Delicious! I'm always pleased to see a man whose "dressing down" style is anything but.

I just wish we could see more detail on the pocket square - it looks to have quite a unique design.
