Mercedes Bien is still a pretty under-the-radar vintage shop located in Adams Morgan. And like many under-the-radar finds, you’re bound to score something awesome and unique when the tiny shop opens its doors this Thursday to reveal goodies from Moschino, Fendi, Pucci, Lily Pulitzer, Lacoste, Whiting and Davis and YSL.

    But here’s a question: do they carry men’s wear? Most places, if they have men’s wear at all, only seem to have a few ratty old bowling shirts and some crap from the 70s.

    I just spoke with Mercedes. Yes, they do, but she admits that it’s limited. She told me about some Schiaparelli and men’s Vera Wang items. Mercedes Bien stuff can sometimes veer towards the costumy, so who knows how wearable you might find her men’s selection.

    There will be some awesome vintage shirts for men (more fitted and less costumey), provided by us, in addition to the stuff Mercedes carries normally.
