Ya'll are too caught up on names and authenticity. Are the shoes good-looking, regardless of who makes them? YES. Those are super fresh I'm going to go try to find some. He needs to ditch the parachute pants though.

kshack,

Is it just that the shoes are (supposed to be) spectators that you like? Because if that's the case, you can get a pair of spectators. Both Allen Edmonds and Church's (Cheaney's actually) sells them for reasonable prices. And they are lovely. The Cheaney's are very nice.

But if it is those shoes in particular, then there's no help for you. Those are crap and you have crap taste. Sorry.

And yes, we all know that linen wrinkles. But you can look nice in linen. This guy doesn't. He looks like a bland gray mess.

I have to disagree totally with the first comment. I LOVE the shoes. I love them so much, I would be willing to knock him over and steal them. They are different than the same old, same old that everyone here wears.

As for linen, it is suppose to have that casual, non-pressed look. It is the perfect material choice for summers, especially here in the district. Maybe it's because I am a southern boy, but I try to wear as much linen and I can between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Nice to see another guy shot.

Unfortunatley those shoes look much better from a distance. Cheap spectator-take off. It looks like freaking wicker. [Btw, ever notice how when you click the photos they don't actually get any bigger? It'd be nice if they did.]

And his shirt and trousers, while linen (looking) is pretty much always wrinkly, he looks a bit sloppy.

But I dig the hat.
