A look from the Rachel Roy presentation. I love the proportion of the sleeves, especially paired with a high-waisted skirt like this one. If you like the top, I noticed a knockoff at Target the other day.

This look got a ripple of reaction from the crowd…when he turned around, what appeared to be a large dead animal was sewn to the back. Fur as an accent, please!

Looks from local clothier Eric Finn here and below. They do custom suiting and don’t really have stock; proprietor Matt Landsberg was lucky to share similar enough measurements with most of the models.

I can’t remember what designer this was but I’m only posting this one picture…I just wasn’t a fan.

This look was from Reiss, which has a store in Georgetown on Wisconsin that both tempts (refined, gorgeous clothes) and depresses me (expensive). Unless I’m confusing any looks with Rachel Roy, I think I only have pictures from the menswear looks. They showed some really great sophisticated casualwear for the men, and they were better than the women’s looks actually.

Another look from Reiss.

I loved this dress. It’s a gorgeous color and a length we’re not seeing much of now but will look great through Fall. The shoes are just right with it.

This gorgeous grecian draped dress wouldn’t have looked out of place in Vera Wang’s show.
