It’s a little hard to see unfortunately, but she was wearing this really cool old-school-looking church hat that really stood out. I love the idea of hats like this. Let’s bring this back!

Um, the pink ladies called. They want their jacket back. Ew!
I don’t mind the individual pieces, but taken together…I’m at a loss. Wearing an uh-uh-no-you-didn’t Delia’s-style tee, a cropped satin jacket and peppering your outfit with estate-sale accessories — it’s not ironic, it’s just silly looking.
The hat might be chic with a seersucker dress at a horse race or with a fitted pantsuit at a royal wedding, but not in NW DC in the middle of the day for no special occasion.
